At CLOC we do not care for prejudices and will not tolerate anything of the sort in our workplace. Our multi-cultural staff work as a unit and produce high quality work, that’s all that is asked and expected. Regardless of gender, disability, age, nationality, race, or sexual preference; possessing the appropriate ability, talent and work ethic are our only requirements of an employee. One way in which we benefit from a diverse work team is through the variation of ages and experience of our staff. Although many consider apprenticeships a relic of the past, at CLOC we disagree and have therefore set up a scheme to give disadvantaged youths a sense of purpose and direction. The scheme works by placing the apprentice under the wing of one of the 'old hands', training them to a high standard in their chosen field, with the added incentive of the possibility of full-time employment. This system has been in place for 10 years and has produced some highly skilled machine minders and print room operatives.
